Dentures in Mount Laurel, NJ
As you get older, a lot of things change. That includes an increased risk that you will lose your teeth. Living without teeth can be difficult, physically and emotionally. It doesn’t have to be that way, however. You can do something about it by getting dentures in Mount Laurel, NJ.

There are times in dentistry when we cannot fix any of the teeth. We do our best to try and save them and such. But yet, sometimes they're hopeless, or that they have other issues too, where the person has to have most of their teeth removed. Going around without any teeth makes a big difference. There is a height between our nose and our chin here. And then there's a height of our upper part of our head here. And we're going to lose some of the height here when we take out the teeth because the chin is going to get much closer to the nose. And that's an issue, where we want to keep that support of that lower half of the face. And so by using the full dentures, we can continue to maintain that.
But not just that, it's not just the appearance, it's how you function. Having an arch that's just with gums, it's challenging. Do some people, can we live without our teeth? Yes, we can. We can chew but we're going to be having foods that are much softer and such. But our digestive system begins in our mouth, if you will and a process for everything. And the best way to do that is to start off right. And if we don't have the ability to have our own natural teeth, then dentures is a great option for our patients.
Our lifelike dentures:
- Look like natural teeth
- Fit comfortably

We’ll Make Sure Your Teeth Replacements Are Lifelike & Comfortable
Choosing the right dentures depends on a number of factors. The most important considerations are the appearance of your replacement teeth and how well they function. Do you want a natural-looking smile? Do you want to be able to eat anything you want? Your answers can have a big impact on figuring out what will work for you. Your options include:
- Partial Dentures – These have small hooks to connect to your remaining teeth. This helps to hold them in place. Another option you may want to consider is an implant-supported dental bridge. Either of those options works well if you have some teeth left.
- Full Dentures – This is what many people think of as a traditional denture. They are for patients who need to replace one row or both rows of their teeth. Visually, these can look remarkably close to natural teeth. We mold each set of dentures to fit your mouth as comfortably as possible.
We also offer same-day denture repair. You can get your teeth back in shape in less time because we have an in-house dental laboratory. If you need to make room for your dentures, Dr. Chase can also remove teeth if necessary.

The patient would know ahead of time that they're going to lose their teeth or that they're already missing a number of teeth. They may realize that to replace those, they would need some form maybe of a denture to do that, and most dentures that we know of are removable. However, with newer advances in dentistry and such, we do have other options now where the dentures can actually either snap in – which gives excellent retention, great for eating and functioning – or that we even go as far as in some cases to actually where they cannot remove it, where I can as a dentist, but our patients brush and care for them just like they would their natural teeth. So, and with that, so there is this spectrum now that's available for our patients without teeth.
I can recall a few patients where prior they had removable partial dentures – that being that they're missing some of their teeth, you know, with some mobility – and we use clasps to actually hold those in place. Generally, we would hear people, patients saying that there's food that gets underneath. After a meal, they have to take out their appliance to rinse it and such. Whereas if our patients go with the implants, the patient can actually snap the denture into place and it holds. It stays right there – and what an improvement it is for the patients, especially when they go out for a social dinner or such. They don't have to worry about the teeth either moving or food getting underneath in a middle of a meal and such. So we don't hear clacking sometimes that can occur too with loose dentures and such. But they definitely, patients, significant improvement. Also, able to eat many more of the foods. Actually, pretty much the same as if we have the natural dentition.
Your teeth don’t exist just to give you a nice smile. Your teeth affect how well you pronounce words, and most importantly, they affect what you can – and can’t – eat. With standard dentures, you can eat more than you could without any teeth, although this may not mean you can eat everything you would like to eat. Plus, eating anything with standard dentures, including softer foods, often requires denture adhesives.
Would you rather have new teeth that look and function like the real thing? Do you want replacement teeth that let you bite and chew anything without worrying that your teeth will come out? With full-mouth reconstruction, you can do those things again. Using dental implants and advanced implant placement techniques, you will feel like you have a full set of real teeth once again. If you need to beef up your bone strength before getting implants, Dr. Chase can perform a ridge augmentation.
Implant dentures:
- Stay in place without adhesive
- Give you more chewing power
- Stimulate your jaw to avoid bone loss so your face looks younger
